A Brief History

Lidderdale Country Store is owned by Bill and Pat Stork. With the help of Bill's brother Tom and Bill's son Brad the Lidderdale Country Store and Restaurant has taken off into a full fledge catering business.

It started in 1976 when Bill and Pat bought another restaurant called Zeke's in Breda, IA. Tom and his wife Mary Jean joined them in 1978. The restaurant became known for its good food at a great price. In 1991 Bill and his wife bought the Country Store in Lidderdale and turned it into a restaurant. Tom joined them and their customers followed the buisness to Lidderdale, as the years passed the business kept growing. In 1998 Brad joined them full time to help with the growing catering needs. As the years passed, the word spread about our quality food and friendly service. It has grown so much, that as May 23, 2008 we closed our restaurant and started catering only.
